He's at the back of the seating area suddenly, watching intently as Tam crosses to the podium. The time is not quite right - there's a balloon vendor blocking part of his view and a harried teacher trying to seat twelve chattering eight-year-olds in the aisle. He can wait.
If anyone glances over they'll see just another guy on the fringes of the crowd, munching popcorn.
